To me, both art and life are about the contrast!  It’s the hard things in life that can be made beautiful with a little, or usually a LOT of work!  To me, art is about finding the beauty in the everyday, the ordinary and sometimes gut-wrenching things of life and finding ways of lifting whatever it is to a higher level.

Early in my life I loved and created a lot of art and had a deep desire within me to create art – especially people.  It wasn’t until mid-way through life – about the time both my children were in school that I started my art career…

I work in many different media.  My favorites are Oil, Pastel and sometimes sculpture.

I love to create art pertaining to the Savior and His teachings.  Paintings that tell stories about life as well as nature studies and fun & whimsical paintings for children of all ages – in short – I love to paint things that are uplifting!

My greatest joys in life are my family!!!
